Permits

Permits may be obtained by contacting Walsh Town Hall at 719 324-5411 or they can be printed from the links on this page.

Burn Permit
A permit is required to burn leaves, weeds, grass and etc. in town.  It should be filled out as directed and then signed by a firefighter, please bring a completed copy to Walsh Town Hall.  You will also need to contact the Baca County Sheriff's Office at 719 523-6677 before burning.  There is no charge for a burn permit.
 
Building Permit
Any structure built within town, i.e. buildings, carports, fences and etc. will require approval by the Board of Trustees at a regularly scheduled meeting.  Meetings are held on the first Monday after the 10th of each month.  Please submit a completed application to the Town Clerk or Town Superintendent prior to building.  There is a fifteen dollar filing fee for a building permit.
 
Mobile Home Permit
The placement or modification of any mobile home within the limits of town will require approval by the Board of Trustees at a regularly scheduled meeting.  Meetings are held on the first Monday after the 10th of each month.  The minimum lot dimension for each mobile home for which a permit will be issued is 3,500 square feet.  There is a fifteen dollar filing fee for a mobile home permit.
